How pillbox is made
pillbox brings together what parents of children with autism or ADHD report after trying supplements and medicines, next to the research, so other parents can see it in one place.
Who runs it
pillbox is run by everydaysummer, the team behind LittleSteps, a learning app for children who develop at their own pace. We don't sell supplements or medicines. At the end of each page there is a note about our learning app.
Where the reviews come from
We only pick posts from public parent forums and personal blogs where a parent describes giving something to their own child and how it went. Right now most come from Taiwan's PTT forum and Japanese personal blogs; we are still gathering reviews in other languages. We never collect from sites that block it in robots.txt or opt out of AI processing.
We use AI to summarize and translate
We don't republish the original posts. AI (Claude) pulls out the outcome, duration and side effects, writes a summary in our own words and translates it into 8 languages. Every review links to the original so you can check it. The evidence grades are also assigned by AI reading PubMed abstracts.
This is not medical advice
pillbox organizes parent experiences and published research; it has not been reviewed by a doctor or pharmacist. These are parents who chose to write, so the numbers may not match reality. Always talk to your child's doctor before starting, changing or stopping a medicine.
